I'm Waxin Fong and I'm crazy about the grill.


Being original when talking about entrepreneurship is difficult in these times in which the blows of life have been to large social groups and each of us has responded to the variants of a pandemic that left many injuries and lessons.


Likewise, it is difficult for me to pigeonhole myself into one type of entrepreneur because my development and evolution is marked, I would say empirically, by genetics, by the crises experienced from my early age and by the example of life of my family environment.

AFTER SOME TIME

A characteristic that researchers and scholars of entrepreneurship highlight is the "spirit of self-improvement", and I am sure that I am a specialist in that, because as I said before, my experiences from a very young age marked me the path to fight for my dreams, to support my family and to do what I always wanted to do, although I did not recognize it as a vocation.


But I had enough encouragement and sustenance to get to where I am, with the certainty that I still have a lot to learn and undertake.


In this short book, I want to inspire you to achieve your projects overcoming the obstacles and circumstances that life gives you as a way to form your character. My advice is what I applied in my life and made me a successful entrepreneur.

Our History

I am the son of Chinese parents, but more Creole than Araguaney, I was born in Barinas (Venezuela). If I tell you that my passion was the kitchen I would be lying, I think I would never have thought of owning a restaurant.


All my life I worked in my brother's and my father's businesses, grocery stores, hardware stores. My passion and my favorite sport since I was a child? Motorcycles. I also belonged to the practical shooting association of the state of Barinas, but since I was a child I had to change passion for obligation and responsibility.


I must confess that helping in my family's business, being a stock boy, cashier and even a chauffeur gave me the best experience of my life! At 21 I decided to start a family, I got married and we opened our first business, a department store in a well-known shopping mall in Barinas in 2011.
